Kandachi Bhaaji is a very very simple recipe. It does not require much ingredients since Kanda itself is very tasty.
Ingredients
1/4 Kg. purple yam
1 tablespoon oil
1 green chilly (finely chopped)
5-6 curry leaves
1/2 tspoon mustard
1/2 tspoon cumin seeds (Jeera)
A pinch of asafoetida (Hing)
Salt
Preparation
Cook purple yam in pressure cooker
Cut it into small squares
Heat oil in a pan
Add cumin seeds, mustad, asafoetida
Now add curry leaves and chilly to the tadka
Finally add cooked purple yam to it
Saute it for 5-6 minutes over medium flame
Serve hot with roti
